WYSIWYG
- (What You See Is What You Get) pronounced wizzy wig, refers to a program that displays data exactly as it will appear when published as a Web page or printed. For example, Web pages are often created using HTML, a code that appears as gibberish to the untrained eye. Of course, the HTML appears as a readable document when actually posted on the Web. To overcome the need to learn HTML, there are many Web design applications that allow a user to create pages in WYSIWYG, bypassing the process of learning the code.
